Delivery & professional erection
On the agreed day our VCA-certified fitters arrive at your location. They erect the scaffold fully in accordance with NEN-EN 12811 and check every component for safety. Most residential scaffolds are erected within 2–4 hours.
Weekly safety inspection
Throughout the hire period we carry out weekly safety checks: stability, connections, platforms and guardrails. After each inspection you receive a signed certificate. You never need to worry about compliance.
Modifications during the hire period
Do you need the scaffold raised, extended or adjusted? No problem. We can modify the structure during the hire period. Extensions are always available at the prevailing day rate — you only pay for what you actually use.

20 frequently asked questions
01 How much does it cost to hire a scaffold in the Netherlands?
Costs depend on the type, height, hire duration and location. A simple rolling tower for one week averages €150–€300 all-in. A large facade scaffold for a housing association project over several months can run from €2,000 to €8,000 per month. Request a free, no-obligation quote for an exact price.
02 How quickly can a scaffold be erected?
For standard orders we deliver within 2–5 working days. For urgent jobs, same-day or next-day delivery is often possible. Call us directly on 06 24 56 30 85 for emergency requests.
03 Is erection and dismantling included in the price?
Yes, always. We work with all-in rates. Transport, erection and dismantling by certified fitters, weekly inspections and the inspection certificate are always included. There are no hidden extras.
04 Do I need a permit for a scaffold in the Netherlands?
On private land, you generally do not need a permit. If the scaffold extends onto the public highway or pavement, a municipal permit is required. We advise you on this and can assist with the application process. Permit fees are payable by the client.
05 What safety standards do Dutch scaffolds have to meet?
Scaffolds in the Netherlands must comply with NEN-EN 12811 (the European scaffold standard), the Dutch ARBO Act and the Bouwbesluit. Our fitters are VCA-certified and erect every scaffold in accordance with these standards.
06 What is the maximum height you can deliver?
We supply scaffolds up to 25 metres working height. The most common heights for residential work are 6–12 metres. For industrial and commercial projects we supply up to 25 metres.
07 Can I extend the hire period?
Yes, always. Call or email us before the end of the agreed period and we extend the hire at the prevailing day rate. There are no penalties for extensions.
08 Do you deliver throughout the Netherlands?
Yes. We operate across the whole of the Netherlands from depots in the Randstad and North Brabant. Most deliveries go to North Holland, South Holland, Utrecht, North Brabant and Gelderland, but we cover other provinces too.
09 Can you erect a scaffold at the weekend?
Yes, on request. This is particularly useful for urgent jobs. Contact us for availability and any weekend surcharge.
10 Can private individuals hire a scaffold or only companies?
We supply to both private individuals and businesses, housing associations, contractors, painters, roofers and other tradespeople. No minimum order and no business registration required.
11 What is an inspection certificate and why do I need one?
An inspection certificate is an official document confirming that the scaffold meets applicable safety standards at the time of inspection. Many local authorities, clients and insurers require this certificate. We issue it after every inspection.
12 What is the difference between a rolling tower and a fixed scaffold?
A rolling tower sits on swivel castors and can easily be moved — ideal for indoor work or multiple locations. A fixed scaffold is anchored to the facade or floor and is suited for long-duration exterior work at a fixed location.
13 How long does erecting a scaffold take?
A standard residential facade scaffold (8–10 m wide, 6–8 m tall) takes our two-man team 2–4 hours. Larger structures for multi-day projects or industrial sites may take half a day or a full day.
14 Can you erect a scaffold through a narrow gate or alleyway?
Yes. We have modular scaffold components that fit through narrow passages and are assembled on site. Provide the width of the narrowest access point in your request so we can plan the right logistics.
15 What happens if the scaffold is damaged by a storm?
Call us directly on 06 24 56 30 85. We assess the damage as quickly as possible and repair or replace the structure. Storm damage is assessed on a case-by-case basis; vandalism damage normally falls under the liability of the hirer or their insurer.
16 What safety measures are required outside working hours?
Dutch law requires that unauthorised persons cannot access a scaffold outside working hours. This can be achieved with anti-climb brushes, lockable access doors or temporarily removed bottom platforms. We advise the best solution for your situation.
17 What load can a scaffold bear?
This varies by type and class. Light scaffolds (class 2) bear 150 kg/m². Medium-duty (class 3) bear 200 kg/m². Heavy industrial scaffolds (class 4–6) bear 300–600 kg/m². The class is stated on the inspection certificate.
18 How far in advance do I need to book?
For regular orders we recommend booking at least 5–10 working days ahead, especially in the busy spring and summer months. For urgent jobs, same-day or next-day delivery is often possible — call us in that case.
19 Can you also supply scaffolding for indoor work?
Yes. For high ceilings, stairwells and interior renovation work we hire out lightweight aluminium scaffolds and rolling towers designed for indoor use with rubber feet to protect floors.
20 Is my scaffold insured during the hire period?
Our scaffolds are insured for transport and construction risks. Damage caused by the hirer or theft of components by third parties normally falls under the hirer's liability. Check your own buildings or business insurance.
